Our pre season preparations continued today as we headed into Glasgow green to compete in the Glasgow Cup. A slow start in our 1st game, see us open up our group with a 2-0 defeat to Villa Park. The boys responded in great fashion as they won 6-0 bs Gleniffer Thistle in the 2nd game and headed into the final game in 2nd place. With a semi final place in our owns hands, we should have been well ahead in our final group game but went in at half time 0-0 and with other results in the group we faced finishing 3rd & missing out on the semi finals. We continued to create chances and with 15 mins remaining we went 1-0 up & grabbed a quick 2nd and round of the group with a 2-0 win. This was enough to win the group and book a place in semi final where we will face Cumnock Juniors.
