About the Club

The Club was started in 2014 with just 2 teams initially, by 2016 another few age groups and teams had joined or indeed created from scratch and the club took on the name Airdrie Community Club.

The Club has recently came to an agreement with a number of other football teams and as we move forward to our own premises and look to improve our Quality mark with the SFA, we are delighted to announce these arrangements.

Greengairs United are now well embedded into the club structure and have teams at 2010 and 2014 level playing alongside ACC teams.

During 2025 The Club will be delighted to welcome Isla Thistle Girls into the Club, a strong outfit training just now in Coatbridge they have over 80 girls playing footbal regularly and we cannot wait to see them as part of the Airdrie family.

Airdrie Ladies are a well established football team, playing in the Barclays Scottish Womens Football league One. we are delighted that the Ladies have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding joining with ACC. the finer points have still to be fully ironed out but on a big picture scale, this means ACC have the full player pathway for Girls to progress through to the Ladies senior game.

We have big plans for the future and want to have our own Mens senior team as well as walking football and many other opportunities for anyone of any age or ability to enjoy football and a sense of well being and health, while participating with ACC.
